Financial Services Authority Our permitted activities are recommending insurance policies (and in cases where we do not give a recommendation we will tell you); arranging insurance cover; dealing as your agent and assisting with the administration and performance of policies - all in connection with general insurance. This may include advising customers on insurance contracts (recommending specific insurance policies to customers); arranging (bringing about) deals in insurance contracts (e.g. introducing a customer to an insurer); making arrangements with a view to transactions in insurance contracts (e.g. helping a customer fill in a proposal form); dealing as the agent in insurance contracts (e.g. entering into a contract of insurance with a customer on behalf of an insurer); assisting in the administration and performance of an insurance contract (e.g. notifying insurance claims to an insurer and negotiating settlement of the claim on a customer’s behalf); and agreeing to carry on any of the above regulated activities. In these terms, references to ‘we’ or ‘us’ are to the company whose details are set out in the covering letter that accompanies these Terms. We recommend that you read these Terms carefully which will apply to our retainer by you and the services that we will provide. Additional Points of Reference Insurance advising and arranging is covered for 100% of the first £2,000 and 90% of the remainder of the claim, without any upper limit. For compulsory classes of insurance (e.g. employers liability insurance), insurance advising and arranging is covered for 100% of the claim, without any upper limits. Data Protection Act At all times we will comply with the requirements of the Act. If our investigations take longer, we will provide a full response within 20 working days or explain our position and provide time-scales for a full response. Details of ALL complaints to this firm are kept for inspection by our regulator and will be submitted to them on demand If you cannot settle your complaint with us, you may be entitled to refer it to the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS), should you be an eligible complainant.
